HISTORY MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 56 total and 26 upper-division credits are required for the BA in History major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Begin or resume elementary foreign language, if competency requirement is not complete.

Unless you are exempt, take the Math Placement Test at least three academic quarters before you intend to take your Exploratory Curriculum math class.

Complete ENG 2201, if required.

AHA, AHB, AHC, SSA, NSA, NSB, MAT (Choose one to five depending on competency courses needed)
Other       Electives to reach at least 45 credits if needed
